I said before the season started that the best case scenario for Starlin Castro was that he hits his way to the top of the order. I did NOT expect for him to a) move up this early or b) be hitting THIRD in the order at any time. But that's the kind of impact Starlin had here in the opening series. In three games he's literally given them every single thing they didn't have last season. It cannot be overstated how desperate this team has been for a guy like Castro. They left so much on the table last year because they didn't have a solid, right-handed contact hitter to balance out all the big left-handed looping swings that consume this lineup. If Starlin's finally found himself again then this order just got a whole lot more dangerous.
PS - I don't miss Adam Warren one bit.
