Derek Jeter sat down with President Obama and for the first time ever, was outcooled by someone else

It's giving me heartburn just thinking about writing this.  When it comes to ranking the coolest people on Earth I've defended Derek Jeter against basically everyone on the planet.  From Ronaldo to Leo and everyone in between, I've gotten into straight up wars with people defending Jeter as the coolest cat of our time.  But I think I'm going to have to put my guns away and admit defeat here.  I watched this thing and didn't expect much.  I knew it was all going to be about leadership and charity and community and yada yada yada.  What I did NOT expect was for Jeter to come out this looking more overmatched here than he did his entire farewell season.

First off, POTUS just looks straight up better than Jetes

I always kind of thought Jeter's neck flab would correct itself but here we are, two years into retirement and we're still drooping.  Don't do this to me Derek.  I've fought to hard for you.  Even if you have Hannah Davis draped on your arm those Jeter>Ronaldo arguments aren't going to hold water if you're showing up to the Met Gala in five years looking like Bernie Williams.

Secondly, Obama just looks cooler and more comfortable than our boy.

POTUS looking like he's chilling at a backyard BBQ while Jetes is sitting there in fielding position ready to play a bad hop.

And lastly, this joke that just got butchered at 7:17 and the presidential roast that followed it

Quite literally the most awkward moment in Jetes' life.  I've been there Derek.  Think you have the perfect joke in the chamber and all the sudden shit just starts pouring out of your mouth and you have no choice but to break eye contact and think about what you just said.

Never seen anything like it.  This is the same guy who made the leader of the free world shit his pants before throwing out the first pitch of the World Series.  And here he is getting made fun of by Obama about how bad he was his final season.  All in all this had to have been a very humbling experience for The Captain.  I know it was for me.
